FINNEAS Cherishes The Good Times In Witty New Christmas Song 'Another Year'

We could all use a little extra cheer this holiday season, and FINNEAS delivered with a new Christmas song called "Another Year." The singer-songwriter used his wit ("I don't believe that Jesus Christ was born to save me / That's an awful lot of pressure for a baby") and charm ("I love you more and more each day / Can't find poetic ways to say / I hope it lasts another year") to write a deeply personal track anyone who's been in love can relate to.Though the song is a nice way to wrap up an otherwise dreadful year, FINNEAS revealed he actually wrote it in 2019.

“I wrote this song last Christmas, with a year of uncertainty ahead of us, had I known, anything I know now about how 2020 would go, I don’t think I would have changed a word," he said in a statement. "I hope wherever this song finds you, it brings you some small dose of comfort. The horizon is bright I think.”

This is the latest in a slew of singles FINNEAS has released this year, following "Where The Poison Is," "Can't Wait To Be Dead," and "What They'll Say About Us." Listen to "Another Year" below.

FINNEAS is performing with his sister Billie Eilish during the 2020 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball next week, and fans can tune in to watch on Thursday, December 10th at 9pm ET/6pm PT on The CW App and CWTV.com, as well as listen across 95 iHeartMedia CHR radio stations nationwide and the iHeartRadio App. The CW will also broadcast the event as an exclusive TV special on Monday, December 14th at 8pm ET/PT.
