The Struts Help Fan Propose To His Girlfriend In Front Of Sold-Out Crowd

The Struts helped one fan's dreams come true during a special show in Philadelphia. During the band's Young & Dangerous Tour on Sunday (December 29, lead singer Luke Spiller invited a fan to the stage to gush about his girlfriend in the mic.

“We've been together almost five years, I love you so much — obviously to do this, you don't know how nerve-wracking this is,” the fan told his girlfriend from the stage. Spiller then got the unsuspecting woman to come up on stage from her spot in the crowd. Once she got on the stage, the girlfriend was visibly shaking knowing what was coming next. “Will you make me the happiest man in the world… will you marry me?” her boyfriend asked.

The fan then pulled out a ring box and got down on one knee while his girlfriend screamed, “yes! Yes!” and put her hands over her mouth in shock. The pair kissed in front of the sold-out crowd who also applauded the newly-engaged couple. Spiller made sure she said yes before giving the couple a hug. “Well last night was amazing, we had a sold out crowd, and a marriage proposal!!” the band captioned the videos of the proposal on Instagram.

The Struts are currently wrapping up 2019 with one last show on New Year's Eve before heading right back into tour in February 2020.

The band recently announced the Tour de California, a four-date mini-tour through the Golden State. They'll also be playing a handful of festivals too — including Lollapalooza Paris and SandJam Fest.
