Matty Healy Joins Dashboard Confessional To Cover The 1975's 'Sex': Watch

Before heading out on an extensive U.S. 20th Anniversary tour next year, Dashboard Confessional's Chris Carrabba is playing a slew of acoustic shows in the UK and Europe. This week, he took over London's St. Pancras Old Church for a three-night stay and during the second performance he brought out a very special guest.

Matty Healy joined Carrabba on stage to cover The 1975's song "Sex" — a track DC recorded for his 2017 EP Covered and Taped but hadn't played live with its original songwriter until now.

"this is how it starts...@trumanblack, so wonderful to have you!" Carrabba captioned a photo of the two, equipped with acoustic guitars, on Instagram. He also shared a clip of the performance on Twitter. Check out both posts below.

The DC20 tour sees Carrabba and his band play 2001's The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most and 2003's A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar in the cities where they're playing two nights, and selections off both iconic albums on all other dates.Tickets to the tour are available now.
